| We carry both frame drums and Sioux drums. Sioux Drums are hand painted on one side and plain on the other. Made from whole log or pine frames. Drumheads are made from cow, deer, elk or goat hides of the highest quality. Handcrafted by native craftsmen from the Taos Pueblo from natural materials over a one-year period of time, these drums resonant with the rhythms of life. Each drum has a soft-hide covered wooden beater. |

These economical drums have a uniform resonance over the widest range of climates. Hand-cut hide is stretched over each end , secured with rawhide lacing. Each drum has a soft-hide covered wooden beater. |
