Products > Indian Arts and Crafts > Taos Drums

We carry both frame drums and Sioux drums. Sioux Drums are hand painted on one side and plain on the other. Made from whole log or pine frames. Drumheads are made from cow, deer, elk or goat hides of the highest quality. Handcrafted by native craftsmen from the Taos Pueblo from natural materials over a one-year period of time, these drums resonant with the rhythms of life. Each drum has a soft-hide covered wooden beater.
